Big World~Little People! Little furry, four-legged  people! In these ever changing times, we are seeing evolutions abound. 'Hybrids' are everywhere. Hybrid cars, batteries, watches, numerous household items and many living things: flowers, dogs and cats. Through careful research the feline world has taken a giant leap to bring forth the tiniest of treasures! While the dog fancier's were the first to explore the development of hybrid's, we cat fancier's have saved the best for last:) It is now a well established fact that expanding the gene pool when working with purebreds is very beneficial to the health and strength of future offspring. Persians & Himalayans are the number 1 feline breed so it only came natural to cross these graceful creatures with the funny, energetic and ever so cute Munchkins. The results are healthy, beautiful little short legged cats that carry traits from both breeds:) They are the ultimate designer kitty and have been affectionately nicknamed "Rughuggers"~ we are proud to be a part of this new breed and thrilled to announce the arrival of Echo Lake's own little people~

Introducing our latest little creation with Spots! Meet Echo Lake's Tiger Lily~ a darling golden Rughugger with little legs and a great big heart:) This baby is as sweet as she is cute, she has the typical puppy like personality and will waddle behind you from room to room, just about the time you think she's ready to snuggle down~ it becomes *play time* and Tiger Lily will surprise you with her ability to run across the room chasing air butterflies! Her Silver brother is her favorite playmate and his tail is too much fun! (he is staying with us as a future King) Tiger Lily is Reserved for Betty

(we prefer that our Rughuggers don't go to homes with large or aggressive dogs as they do not comprehend that kind of environment, thank you for understanding)

Little Elf is a real sweetie. He purrs ALL the time, even when the vet was working with him. Even the vet commented on what a lovely baby he is. Elf spends most of his time sitting on my lap. He loves to be held!

Pam,

I just wanted to let you know that Trinket arrived. She is so cute! She seemed fine as soon as I saw her and wasn't too scared after the flight. She fell asleep in my arms on the way home from the airport though so she must have been exhausted! All she does now is play..with EVERYTHING! Thank you so  much for all that you have done.                     Meet 'Baby Smurf'~ He never meets a stranger! Smurf will push his head against your neck and like his Canadian Mom~'talk' to you:) He is a blue smoke rughugger & an absolute love! He is living with his little girls~ Alex, Bobbi & Rian:)

This is 'Shadow' and she is now living a wonderful life with her new family in Louisiana
